COVID-19 SPECIAL STATEMENT: FAYETTEVILLE CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU
Hello friends,
For so many of us, Fayetteville holds a special place in our hearts with visitors and community members alike calling this place home. As we navigate through these stressful and trying times, we here at the Fayetteville Convention & Visitor Bureau want each one of you to know how important you are to us here. Our people, just like our mountains, are resilient. Together, we will get through this and become stronger as a community, as travelers and as people. Thank you, for your continued support as we postpone events and focus our efforts on flattening the curve. The Fayetteville Visitor Center is currently closed to walk- in -visitors. We will reassess the situation on March 31st. However, you can still reach us by phone email, and through Facebook messages, do not hesitate to contact us with questions.

We encourage everyone to limit unnecessary travel as suggested by our federal government. These are difficult times and we want everyone to remain healthy and safe. Remember we are small town with limited emergency services and our grocery stores have limited supplies. We also have a high risk population so please be considerate. We encourage visitors to consider postponing plans until conditions improve. We can’t wait to greet you again in the future.
We understand that visitors will be traveling through the area to get home.
While visiting respect social distancing. Enjoy the outdoors but remain the recommended 6 feet apart and less than 10 people in a group gathering. Please continue to wash your hands frequently. Currently the CDC recommends that if you feel sick, or if someone is ill in your home that you stay home and avoid public spaces.
Our town is dependent on tourism and we could use your help supporting our small businesses that are the backbone of our community. Click the link for information on businesses currently offering take out and other services. You can support your favorite small town by purchasing gift cards from the comfort of your couch to use in the future. Join our #fayettevillestrong campaign to show your support.
Stay tuned as we continue to update information.
