Discover the healing power of herbs with local expert Victoria Chesterfield in a special two-part workshop here at the farm!

This hands-on experience is designed to teach you about the health-promoting properties of select herbs and practical tips for harvesting, processing, and preparation.

Participants will leave with the knowledge and skill sets they need to continue using plants and plant extracts to support their health, as well as a take-home bottle of a preparation we will make together.

In Part 1 on Saturday, July 20th, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., participants will learn:

• How to recognize herbs that grow wild in our area

• Harvesting methods

• Herbal actions and properties

• How to prepare tinctures, infused oils, and oxymels

In Part 2 on Saturday, August 24th, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., participants will learn:

• Straining methods

• Bottling and labeling

• Suggested dosage and storage of herbal preparations
