Celebrate Downtown Fayetteville at First Fridays!

Fayetteville’s First Fridays are back presented by the Fayetteville Merchants, First Fridays will be held on the first Friday of each month from May through November.

These festive evenings will transform downtown Fayetteville into a vibrant gathering place for our local community and visitors alike. Businesses will stay open late, offering extended shopping hours so you can explore all the unique shops, boutiques, and galleries our town has to offer.

But that’s not all! Court Street will be closed to traffic to host an artisan market, featuring talented local and regional vendors selling handmade goods, arts, and crafts. You’ll also find food trucks, live music, and other entertainment to keep you entertained as you stroll through downtown.

Whether you’re in the mood for some retail therapy, looking to indulge in delicious local fare, or simply want to soak up the lively atmosphere, First Fridays in Fayetteville have something for everyone. This is the perfect opportunity to shop small, support local businesses, and celebrate the spirit of this charming West Virginia town.

Stop by the Southside Junction Tap House for the First Friday after party entertainment with Allan Dale Sizemore at 8pm.

Vendor Information:

Vendors interested in participating in First Fridays must have a permit with the Town of Fayetteville. Food truck vendors must also meet the requirements of the Fayette County Health Department and secure a food truck permit from the town. All vendors must fill out an application and go through a juried selection process to be approved by the Fayetteville Merchant Group. Vendor set up cannot start before the road closure at 4:30pm. The event runs 5pm-8pm with breakdown at 8pm. Vendor spots are full for the May 1st event.
