During this immersive experience, Drew Palmer, a master mushroom hunter and edible educator, will be your guide through the enchanting New River Gorge forest. With his expertise in mushroom types and mycology, Drew will introduce you to the diverse array of mushrooms found in Appalachia and provide insights into their edibility.
Upon our return, we’ll entrust our collection of edible mushrooms to the skilled chefs at The Handle Bar + Kitchen, where they’ll craft a delectable sautéed dish. Plus, you’ll have the option to have these savory delights featured on a pizza!
