Spring Riding Time Baby!

ATTENTION:
• Arrive Hico Exxon 10:00 am- there is parking along the road/park n ride
• Drivers meeting held at 10:30 am
• Current plan is to do a loop or figure 8 path depending on how many people show up!
• In order to save time- depending on how things go we may hit the pavement for 15 -20 miles or so- we will group up before we do!

PLEASE READ BELOW as we may have 20-35 buggies estimated and to ensure all has a great time!

The GEAR UP FOR SPRING ride is a FREE, ride at your own risk event.

This is a guided ride and will consist of trails designed for UTVs / ATVs. Although we are taking in consideration the riding experience of everyone is different, we are in West Virginia and there will be obstacles to navigate during the ride including creek crossings, mud holes, ruts, up and down hills, rocks, over and under fallen trees. Although the trails are not the everyday traveled ‘main’ paths most people ride, we do take into consideration all possible aspects when making a route incorporating a safe, yet enjoyable experience for all. Please take all of this into consideration especially the age if any children riding along!

Participation in the event acknowledges your agreement that GEAR UP FOR SPRING Organizers are not responsible for injury, theft, damage or any other outlying issues during the event.

Keep in mind, during the ride: YOU ARE NOT responsible for keeping up with the person in front of you but YOU ARE responsible for making sure you ALWAYS see the person behind of you. This way NO ONE will get lost or left behind- with this being said, if the person behind you gets lost it is really your fault 

We will gather at selected intervals to regroup together and break!

We use 2-way radios during the event and are recommended.

Please plan accordingly for an all-day adventure (food/drinks). We will have group stops along the way at various spots for photos and lunch.

We hope to meet some new people and see the familiar ones too!
