Waterstone Climbing *PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED*

Location: Waterstone Outdoors (meet-up location) Address: 101 East Wiseman Ave, Fayetteville, WV 25840, Fayette County When: August 17th at 4:00 PM About This Event: Join us for an exciting afternoon of rock climbing hosted by Active SWV and Waterstone Outdoors! Whether you’re new to climbing or looking to get back on the rock, this session offers a supportive environment and expert guidance to help you challenge yourself and have fun. What to Expect: • A community climbing experience suitable for all skill levels • Professional instruction and safety guidance • A welcoming, beginner-friendly atmosphere How to Prepare: • Wear flexible, athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes • Bring water, snacks, and sun protection • Climbing gear will be provided, but you may bring your own if you have it • Meet at Waterstone Outdoors at 4:00 PM for gear check and directions to the climbing site

Registration to any Active SWV free programming indicates acceptance of our liability waiver for every adult and child attending. Please do not attend programs if you are not feeling well. https://rpb.li/rNo  Regarding Community Captain Programs and groups of children: All Active SWV Community Captain programs are family friendly; children are invited to attend with the expectation of a parent/guardian ratio of 1 guardian adult to 5 children. Get Active In The Park, a partnership between Active SWV and the National Park Service. Get Active in the Park activities are perfect for grand-families, groups with multiple interests, and individuals. All are welcome! Youth are encouraged to attend but must be accompanied by a guardian and the adult must stay on site during the activity. Get Active in the Park is an innovative partnership between the National Park Service and Active Southern West Virginia. Trained Community Captains deliver free, beginner-level instructional programs to the New River Gorge region. Get Active in the Park empowers our community to see outdoor spaces as a place for health and wellness to take place.
