West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride: Welcome the Riders to Fayetteville

Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Expected in Fayetteville between 11 a.m. and noon

Join us along Court Street to welcome the West Virginia Gold Star Mothers Bridge Ride as it travels through Fayetteville. The riders are scheduled to leave Summersville at 10 a.m. and are expected to reach town between 11 a.m. and noon.

The group will enter from Route 19, travel down Court Street, then turn onto Maple Avenue toward Fayetteville PK–8 School. Fire trucks will line Court Street as the riders pass through. Wear red, white, and blue, find a place along the route, and help us give the riders and Gold Star families a warm Fayetteville welcome.

West Virginia Gold Star Mothers are mothers whose children died while serving our country. The Bridge Ride, held October 9–10, honors West Virginia’s fallen service members and their families.

This is a community invitation to watch and welcome the ride as it passes through town. For ride details and registration, visit BridgeRide.org or the Bridge Ride Facebook page
