We’re thrilled to bring back the Fayetteville Soapbox Derby as part of this year’s celebration of 250 years of America. DESCRIPTION:Step back in time and join us for an Old-Fashioned Cake Walk & Youth Cookie Walk following the parade on Friday\, July 3rd in downtown Fayetteville! The fun takes place in front of Fayetteville Town Hall and the downtown stage. \nFor just $1 per ticket\, participants can join the walk. Contestants will circle around numbered stars on the ground while music plays—just like musical chairs! When the music stops\, a number will be called\, and the lucky winner standing on that number will take home a delicious homemade cake or cookies. \nBring the whole family and enjoy this classic small town tradition as part of Fayetteville’s Heritage Festival and 4th of July festivities!
