Celebrate America’s birthday in America’s coolest small town. We invite you and your family to join our community in celebration. Experience the magic of our small-town Independence Day Celebration with Fayetteville’s Heritage Festival. This event features fun activities for the whole family with a 4th of July Parade, food and craft vendors, cake walk, fireworks, street dancers, inflatables, live music, and more!One of the highlights of the celebration is the 4th of July Parade where you will see an explosion of patriotism with decked-out floats. Fireworks will be at the Fayetteville Town Park at dusk on Sunday, July 2nd.

Heritage Festival 23 Schedule Update 6-22
Vendor Registration
Vendors will be set up in downtown Fayetteville June 30- July 1st and at the Charlie Mccoy Park from July 2nd-4th.
Looking to join us as a vendor. Fill out the vendor registration and turn it in to the Fayetteville Town Hall.

Midways by M&J will have carnival rides, games and food trucks set up at the Charlie Mccoy town park from July1 – July 4th.

Festivities downtown Fayetteville
The Heritage Festival festivities will kick off Friday in downtown Fayetteville off Court Street. There will be a road closure in front of the courthouse with vendors set up. Enjoy a street dance, music with Jay Miliam and cake walk.
Old Fashioned Cake Walk
Friday, June 29 7:30pm
Bring your homemade cookies and cakes for an old-fashioned cake walk and kid’s cookie walk. Lineup will be in front of Fayetteville Town Hall. Cakes can be dropped off at the Fayetteville Town Hall from 8am Friday until 7pm Friday.
Saturday, July 1
downtown Fayetteville
Festivities kick off downtown Saturday with the Fayette County Farmers Market. The farmer’s market is located in the parking lot by the courthouse off Wiseman Ave. Enjoy shopping for locally grown produce, baked goods, meats, eggs, artisan items and more. Vendors and food trucks will be set up from 9am-10pm on court street in front of the courthouse. Enjoy field day games, carriage rides, parade, live music and more! The carnival will be set up at the Charlie Mccoy Park in Fayetteville.
The Best Small-Town 4th of July Parade

Join in the fun and be a part of the Best Small Town 4th of July Parade. Parade registration forms can be turned into the Fayetteville Town Hall If you are coming to watch the fun the parade starts at Fayetteville PK-8 and travels down Maple Ave. to Court Street. Line up for the parade is at 4pm at Fayetteville PK-8.

Sunday’s events will be held at the Charlie Mccoy Park in Fayetteville. Enjoy church services, gospel music, pick-up softball and baseball games, carnival, live music and fireworks at dusk Sunday evening!
Monday
Head on over to the Charlie Mccoy Park on Monday to enjoy the carnival, vendors, food trucks, live music and more. Make sure to plan a trip to the Monday Night Market at the Gaines Estate. Update: Monday Carriage Rides at the park have moved to 3pm to 5pm instead of 1pm to 3pm. All festivities Monday and Tuesday are at the Charlie Mccoy Park. The Monday Market will be at the Gaines Estate.

Patriotic Pet Contest

Do you have the most Patriotic Pet? Dress up your pup, cat, duck, or other leashed family member in their favorite red, white & blue ensemble and join us for Fayetteville’s Patriotic Pet Contest. Pets show off their patriotic outfits and accessories during the Patriotic Pet Contest at the Charlie Mccoy Park in Fayetteville. All pets must be properly restrained at all times. Win Prizes! It is free to enter the contest. We love animals and can’t wait to see your creativity shine.
Hot Dog Eating Contest
Who can eat 10 hotdogs the fastest? Local businesses have donated prizes to the fastest hotdog champions. Participants must preregister, limited to 10 participants. Stop by the Fayetteville Visitor Center to register or fill out google form. The first 10 participants will be notified and should show up at the stage (shelter 2) at the Charlie Mccoy Fayetteville town park at 4:45pm for the hotdog contest that will start at 5pm hosted by Cassidy Bayes.

Kiddie pool, horse trough, bathtub, whatever works. Pool party, but bring your own pool! Music goes on at 6pm, but feel free to bring your pool for filling anytime after noon. Archie & Tanzey will be providing live music from 6-8pm. Bar & kitchen will stay open until the party fades.
