For those who believe everything tastes better with a little bacon sprinkled on top this foodie road trip is for you.
Start your culinary expedition with the BLAT. The BLAT features bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato, and mayo on a brioche bun topped with greens and lemon house dressing. Wood Iron Eatery is also well known for its delicious CANDIED BACON. The NAPOLEON D TOTS are another popular dish. Enjoy tater tots topped with avocado, sour cream, chili aioli topped with green onion and bacon bits. MAPLE BACON SCONES make an appearance on special occasions.

The GAULEY GOUDA BURGER is served on a toasted brioche bun, this beef patty is smothered in gouda , topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, bacon and in-house-made spicy roasted tomato aioli with Surprise Fries. Try something new with the UPPER MASH MUSHROOMS. These portobello mushrooms are stuffed with bacon, red peppers, spinach and feta topped with melted Parmesan cheese.

If you haven’t had your bacon fill you can stop by Chimney Corner where Route 60 and 16 meet for a killer GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH with Smoked Gouda, garlic mayo and bacon.
You can even play along with your own bacon passport. Take your bacon passport as you sample bacon delights from participating locations. Mark off 5 bacon stops and you can email your form back to us at info@visitfayettevillewv.com or drop them off in the drop off box on the porch at the Fayetteville Visitor Center. We will not be doing bacon stamps at this time due to COVID-19. We trust you, you can mark off your stops and submit your form. One winner will be selected to bring home the bacon with a bacon lovers prize basket.
