Fayetteville’s Gingerbread Festival

Nestled in the picturesque mountains of West Virginia you can step back in time and enjoy Fayetteville’s Gingerbread Festival! Fayetteville gets all dolled up for the holidays celebrating with true small-town flair. Escape the hustle and bustle of the holidays and enjoy a getaway with your family. You can shop small and enjoy strolling around historic downtown as the town is transformed into a candy land with gingerbread decor throughout the town. Enjoy the Hansel & Gretel Trail with gingerbread-themed stops through town. The Festivities kick off on December 5th. This year’s festival will look a little bit different from the past. We will not be hosting some aspects of the festival including the children’s activities downtown to avoid crowds along with the parade. We will be following social distancing guidelines and following the mask mandate.

Fayetteville businesses will be hosting their Christmas open houses Saturday, December 5th. Enjoy festive activities, treats, and sales while you enjoy shopping small in Fayetteville.
