Halloween Fun
Halloween is a full season in Fayetteville with spooktacular events popping up through October. The Town of Fayetteville’s Beautification Committee hosts a town wide scarecrow competition so be on the lookout for scarecrows at businesses through town. Our neighboring town of Oak Hill is home to the Lewis Pumpkin House that will be lit with hundreds of pumpkins. The Fayetteville County Park hosts the October in the Park festival with a pumpkin patch, food vendors, art vendors, trick or treat, haunted house, hay rides and more! There are pumpkin pedals, 5k races, and Witches and Warlocks will trade in their brooms for Stand Up Paddle Boards to float in the morning fog on the New River.
