The Fayetteville CVB and the surrounding areas are all focused on the health and well-being of our community and visitors. We know you may be looking for information about what steps we are taking to protect our community and visitors. We join you in a desire to get back to all the fun Fayetteville happenings, but we recognize that extra precautions will be necessary for some time. We are continuing to follow CDC guidelines and following the guidance of the Fayette County Health Department as we move forward.
We are open and welcoming visitors to town with extra precautions. With that being said, a number of events have been postponed and/or canceled. We are updating our website calendars as quickly as possible, based on the information that is available, but we ask that you please visit the website or social media pages of each individual event or contact the event organizers directly for the most up-to-date information.
As of July 7th, there is a statewide indoor face-covering requirement order. Anyone ages 9 and older are required to wear a face-covering at all indoor public places where six feet of social distancing cannot be maintained.
