DESCRIPTION:Join Team River Runner members for an unforgettable backcountry river adventure on the Upper New River in West Virginia! We are currently planning a self-supported\, multi-day rafting and kayaking expedition through one of the East Coast’s most scenic river corridors.\nThis 4-day / 3-night trip will cover approximately 35 miles of river travel\, combining moving water\, Class II–III rapids (depending on water levels)\, and long stretches of flatwater paddling. Participants should be prepared for full days on the river\, variable weather conditions\, and the physical and mental endurance required for a remote wilderness-style expedition.\nWho this trip is open to:-All TRR members- including\, active duty service members\, veterans\, their family members\, and volunteers.\nSpace is limited. To apply and find more information follow the link in the “Tickets” section.\nApplications will close 10 July 2026 and participants will be notified of acceptance within a week after.\nTeam River Runner is a 501c3 non-profit whose mission is to provide all service members\, veterans\, and their family members the opportunity to find health and healing through paddlesports.
