Organization
The Visit Fayetteville Convention Visitors Bureau is a nonprofit organization. Our mission is to take the leadership role in developing Fayetteville’s tourism industry and advancing our image as a vacation destination. We want to positively impact the area’s economy through excellent customer service, aggressive marketing and sales efforts with area partners in the tourism industry.
Visitor Welcome Center Volunteer
Responsible for greeting visitors as they enter the Visit Fayetteville CVB and providing them with local information.
Qualifications
Positive attitude, communication skills, and general knowledge of the Fayetteville area.
Special Event Volunteer
Responsible for assisting during special events. Duties may include helping with event set up, greeting guests, helping staff and more.

Visit Fayetteville CVB Unpaid Internship
The Visit Fayetteville Convention & Visitors Bureau is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated interns.
Gain experience working in the tourism industry in one of America’s coolest small towns and outdoor capitals of the east coast. As a tourism industry liaison, you’ll be responsible for greeting visitors at the Welcome Center and providing accurate information on local tourism, assisting with wayfinding, lodging, outdoor recreation, attractions, event and seasonal information. This position also involves helping with special events and projects catered to your area of study.
This internship is unpaid. We will work with you to determine the length of the internship and the time commitment per week. In other words we’re extremely flexible.
Intern opportunities are ongoing. Applications are accepted year-round.
