Fayetteville’s Egg Hunt (Kids)
Saturday, March 27, Fayetteville Town Park
The Fayetteville Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting the Fayetteville Easter Egg Hunt. Join us for a fun-filled day of egg hunting in Fayetteville! The egg hunt will be free for all kids. We ask that you bring a basket or bag to gather your eggs. Kids will be separated into appropriate age groups for the hunt with limited group sizes. You must pre-register for the egg hunts so that we can follow COVID Guidelines with limited participants in each hunt. We ask that participants(2years+) and volunteers wear masks while participating unless you have a condition that prevents you from wearing a mask. There will be a 10 egg limit for each participant.
In an effort to make the egg hunt more accessible we will be hosting an all-inclusive hunt before the main festivities. No one is excluded from attending the main hunt and no one is required to attend only the accessible portion, it is just an added option for those that may find the hunt more enjoyable with a smaller crowd and less sensory overload. We have made modifications for this hunt with areas that will be wheelchair accessible and we will have a number of beeping eggs available. Participants will receive a color card and will be on a mission to find 10 eggs that match their assigned color. For those that are high risk or do not feel comfortable, we also have the option for goodie bag signups. Participants can receive take-home bags that can be picked up at the visitor center. If your child has food allergies candy eggs can be traded in for one prize from the prize table at the end of the hunt.
The hunt will take place at the Fayetteville Town Park 330 Park Drive Fayetteville, WV 25840
We will meet at Shelter #2 between the basketball court and playground.
10:30 AM – All-Inclusive Hunt
12:15 PM 6 & and Under Hunt
12:30 PM- 6 And Up
It is important that you register under the time and hunt you plan to attend. Registration open on March 1st.
If you do not feel comfortable participating in person or are high risk you can sign up to receive an Easter goodie bag to pick up at the Fayetteville Visitor Center.
Get Involved
Our community egg hunts would not be possible without your support. We have an prize/candy/egg drop-off box located on the visitor center porch. If you are interested in volunteering or sponsoring the egg hunt email info@visitfayettevillewv.com.
