Fayetteville Bike Month Challenge

May is National Bike Month and the Town of Fayetteville invites you to celebrate! When you ride your bike this month, you have a chance to win prizes. Here’s how to participate:1. Ride on any of the local trails below.
2. Post a picture of you from your ride to social media.
3. Use the hashtag #FayettevilleBikeMonth2021Each time you post a picture from a different trail from the list, your name will be entered to win one of these prizes:- Basic bike tune-up from New River Bikes

Brunch & Bouquets at the Gaines Estate

Join us Saturday, May 1 from 10 am-11 am for our first Brunch & Bouquets event. During the event, we will help you create the perfect arrangement for the special Mother figure in your life! The event will be held at The Gaines Estate in Fayetteville. Space is limited. The ticket price is $50 and includes materials to create your arrangement, a demonstration on flower arranging plus brunch snacks and beverages. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and mask are required to participate

Women’s Group Ride at the Bike Farm

We are excited to announce our Weekly Women’s Group Ride will be on Sundays!Sundays at 5 pm, Erin Larsen and Sarah Coffey will be leading a beginner to intermediate ride for women who are looking to ride with other women, explore the Arrowhead Trails with a group, and have a good time!Meet at the Bike Farm at 5:00. The length of the ride will depend on the group but will range from 6-8 miles.

You’ll have options to bike or walk the Fayetteville Fitness Trail (a paved 1 mile loop) or the Fayetteville Park Trail (approximately 1 mile wooded trail).This is a great chance to get active AND get to know your local representatives in an informal setting.For other ways to celebrate Bike Month with Fayetteville, check out our Bike Month Challenge event here, taking place all month long. Month Long Celebrations
Join us for a county-wide Earth Day celebration, celebrating all month long. There will be an Earth Day photo scavenger hunt with photo-op stops in communities spread across the county through the month of April. Participants will have a chance to score prizes from Fayette County businesses for participating in the hunt. Click the link below to download a checklist for all the stops. In addition to the county-wide scavenger hunt, there will be fun ways to celebrate Earth Day throughout the month of April with tree plantings, activities, clean-ups, and more going on throughout Fayette County.
