Bridge Jam Music Festival 2017

Extend your Bridge Day® fun with the Bridge Jam Music Festival! Bridge Jam is a two-day music festival held at Cascade Festival Grounds in downtown Fayetteville. Bill Wells is a co-founder and local who started Bridge Jam hoping to do something fun for Fayetteville that would keep people in town longer for Bridge Day® and give back to the community. With every ticket purchased for the event, a portion goes towards local non-profits. Bridge Jam has partnered with organizations like the Fayetteville Arts Coalition, Fayetteville Rotary Club, and New River Gorge Trail Alliance. Money from the event also helps with the historical restoration of the Gaines Estate and supporting the trail system on site.

Festival grounds will open at 6 p.m. Friday with music running from 7 p.m. to midnight.  Enjoy the Bridge Day® festivities with the free Bridge Jam shuttle starting at 8 a.m. Saturday. Music starts back up Saturday following the Bridge Day® festivities from 2:30p.m. to midnight.

Wells said his favorite thing about the festival is great music.  The lineup includes The Georgia Satellites, Hill benders, Seldom Scene, Native Howl, Matt Mullins the Bringdowns, and Step into the Blue.  Enjoy music ranging from classic rock   to a variety of bluegrass and country. On top of the music, there will be 15 different craft beers on tap from Bridge Brew, New Belgium, Lagunitas, and Foothills Brewery. There will be camping and RV sites on site.  WVU will have their tailgate trailer at the festival with a big screen for viewing the West Virginia vs. Baylor Game while you listen to great music. Yoga clinics will be going on throughout the festival. There will be art installations on site along with mountain bike trails, and great food vendors. The festival grounds are in downtown Fayetteville just a short walk from great shops and restaurants. You still have time to purchase tickets; you can buy discounted tickets online until the day before the event. Tickets will be available at the gate for full price. The weather is looking fantastic for Bridge Day® weekend with highs in the 70’s and lows at night in the 50’s.
