Celebrate America’s birthday in America’s coolest small town. We invite you and your family to join our community in celebration. Experience the magic of our small-town Independence Day Celebration with Fayetteville’s Heritage Festival. This event features fun activities for the whole family with a 4th of July Parade, food and craft vendors, cake walk, fireworks, street dancers, carnival, skateboarding competition, live music, and more! One of the highlights of the celebration is the 4th of July Parade where you will see an explosion of patriotism with decked-out floats. Fireworks will be at the Fayetteville Town Park at dusk on Sunday, July 2nd.

Bring your homemade cookies and cakes for an old-fashioned cake walk and kid’s cookie walk. Lineup will be in front of Fayetteville Town Hall. Cakes can be dropped off at the Fayetteville Town Hall from 8am Friday until 7pm Friday.

Festivities kick off downtown Saturday with the Fayette County Farmers Market. The farmer’s market is located in the parking lot by the courthouse off Wiseman Ave. Enjoy shopping for locally grown produce, baked goods, meats, eggs, artisan items and more. Vendors and food trucks will be set up from 9am-10pm on court street in front of the courthouse. Enjoy field day games, carriage rides, parade, live music and more! The carnival will be set up at the Charlie Mccoy Park in Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville Farmers Market is set up every Saturday from 8am -12:30pm off Wiseman Ave in the Fayette County Courthouse parking lot. Local producers will be set up with a variety of seasonal vegetables, microgreens, breads, jellies, baked goods, meats, eggs, honey, maple syrup, plants, flowers, soaps, candles arts and more.

Join us for some fun, calming, and interactive kids yoga classes!
Each kids yoga class with Katie starts with ‘getting out of our heads and onto our mats’ and a breath/mindfulness exercise. Children are introduced to yoga asanas (poses) in age-appropriate ways including through games and imagination.
It is about having fun while learning about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Each class ends in a meditation suitable for littles.

Join in the fun and be a part of the Best Small Town 4th of July Parade. Parade registration forms can be turned into the Fayetteville Town Hall If you are coming to watch the fun the parade starts at Fayetteville PK-8 and travels down Maple Ave. to Court Street. Line up for the parade is at 4pm at Fayetteville PK-8.

Big Air Blob Contest at ACE Adventure Resort

Gather at ACE Adventure Water Park for the 12th Annual Big Air Blob Competition. Fireworks won’t be the only thing rocketing skyward on Independence Day. Teams of two will compete for the most outrageous blob of the day. Judges will score up to 10 points per blob based on form, height or just sheer craziness. Cash Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners! Sign up at 4pm on the waterpark dock. Competition starts at 5pm.

Bus Shuttle Schedule will run Sunday July 2nd from 7pm-11pm making stops at Fayetteville PK8, The Memorial Building, Fayette County Bus Garage, Fayette County Courthouse Anne Building and Charlie Mccoy Park for firework viewing.
This is a free service offered by the Town of Fayetteville.
