0.5 miles moderate hike. Learn about ferns in this WV MN elective certification class. Program will start at the Mann’s Creek Picnic Shelter then participants will hike and car caravan around the park in search of ferns. Bring a hand lens.
Learn about and see moths of the New River Gorge as we search for these night insects attracted by artificial light. Bring a flashlight and camera with a flash if desired. Field observation session end time will be determined by the moths.
