Fall Colors Are Here! FALL In Love With Fayetteville

We are excited to announce that fall is finally here! Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Fayetteville and around the New River Gorge with an abundance of color. With above-average temperatures and lots of rain, our fall foliage displays have been off to a slow start this year allowing for a late season treat.  The cooler temperatures that hit this past week have finally brought out pops of colors. We are seeing vibrant colors at higher elevations around the rim of the gorge. Our neighbors at Hawks Nest and Babcock State Park are at peak color. Mother Nature does what she wants, but we are expecting our greens to continue to transform in the next couple of weeks. Now is the perfect time to plan your leaf-peeping adventure!
