Our neighboring town is celebrating the Oak Leaf Festival held over Labor Day weekend. Events kick off Thursday evening. Enjoy vendors, amusement rides, chili cook-off, talent show, parade, car show and more!! The event takes place on Main Street in Oak Hill.

Fayetteville’s First Friday
Fayetteville is gearing up for our largest first Friday yet, with a record number of vendors, artists and community organizations setting up for September! First Fridays will be held the first Friday of the month from June- September. Businesses are encouraged to stay open late for extended shopping hours. Court Street will be closed to host vendors, food trucks, artists, and more!
For our September First Friday the theme is community night! We will have lots of community organizations set up so you can learn more about the organizations in our town and ways to get involved.
Court Street will be shut down for vendors, artists, food trucks, live music and community organizations to set up. Many businesses will be open for extended shopping hours. Pick up a shop local card, shop local card and get entered to win prizes donated by your favorite Fayetteville shops and restaurants. If you make purchases from 3 businesses/vendors during the event you will be entered to win prizes!
We hope this event brings together the local community and visitors to celebrate downtown Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville Farmers Market is set up every Saturday from 8am -12:30pm off Wiseman Ave in the Fayette County Courthouse parking lot. Local producers will be set up with a variety of seasonal vegetables, microgreens, breads, jellies, baked goods, meats, eggs, honey, maple syrup, plants, flowers, soaps, candles arts and more.

Join us for some fun, calming, and interactive kids yoga classes!
Each kids yoga class with Katie starts with ‘getting out of our heads and onto our mats’ and a breath/mindfulness exercise. Children are introduced to yoga asanas (poses) in age-appropriate ways including through games and imagination.
It is about having fun while learning about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Each class ends in a meditation suitable for littles.
