Join us for the 3rd annual New River Gorge Race & Rodeo! This year we will celebrate the New all weekend with three days of whitewater.
Friday Rodeo – a ramp trick, upper railroad surf, and downriver freestyle competition. Followed by a carb-o-load party at the gear shop, free for rodeo competitors.
Saturday Race – A 6.9 mi mass start race from Cunard to Fayette Station. Followed by after party and awards at the Lost Paddle.
Sunday River Clean-up – Join The New River Conservancy on a river clean-up.

Spring Fling at New Roots

Spring Fling – a FREE fun event for all ages to celebrate spring! Join us for live music, a plant sale, free snacks, samples from the market, and an incredible line up of local vendors with treats, arts & crafts – a great way to shop for mother’s day. Kids can paint a small pot to take home, plus we’ll have a face painter, arts & crafts, and outdoor games. We hope to see you there!

Join us for a magical evening filled with beautiful vibes, featuring Magic Beans, food trucks, local brews, art vendors, massage therapy, and smiles all around, set against the breathtaking backdrop of The Outpost at the New River Gorge!

PARKING: ALL parking will be at Adventures on the Gorge (map) where a FREE and CONTINUOUS shuttle will be running to The Outpost (less than 10 min ride) UNLESS you buy a limited “Onsite Parking Pass” or stay at The Outpost. AOTG will have their bar open, and The Outpost doors will open at 5:00pm with food trucks, local brews / seltzers / wine in a beautiful setting with a communal vibe.

Join us at The Freefolk Brewery for a Mother’s Day Painter’s Choice Paint & Sip! Choose between painting Spring Lilacs or West Virginia Mountains- both will be taught! Everything you need to create your own masterpiece will be provided- paints, apron, a 16 x 20 inch canvas, easel & step-by-step instructions by one of our lead artists! Join us for an afternoon to remember celebrating mom with family and friends! Craft beer, food and drink will be available for purchase. This event is beginner friendly and no prior painting experience is necessary. This is a family-friendly event for adults and kids ages 10+. This event will be outside under the pavilion so please dress accordingly
