We are excited to host the WV State Softball Little League All Stars tournament at the Fayetteville Town Park from July 7-11, 2024. With our rich history, vibrant arts scene, stunning natural beauty, and abundance of outdoor activities, Fayetteville is the perfect place for teams, families, and fans to gather. Lodging
Fayetteville offers a variety of lodging options to suit your needs and budget. Staying in town not only provides close proximity to the park but also easy access to our charming shops and delicious restaurants.
- Quality Inn New River Gorge: Conveniently located as the closest hotel to the Fayetteville Town Park and National Park. Enjoy comfortable rooms and an onsite pool to cool down in after the tournaments wrap up. (Ask for the Little League room block)
- Historic Morris Harvey House Bed & Breakfast: This bed and breakfast offers a cozy, historic setting in the heart of our downtown.
- Bear Mountain Cabins: Offering a variety of Amish and log cabins with an onsite campground with RV hook ups conveniently located right off of Rt. 19 in Fayetteville.
- The Outpost New River Gorge: Offering upscale camping with RV sites, rustic cabins and themed vintage campers available to rent. Giving a 10% discount to any championship overnight Outpost lodging guests. (The discount will be on the nights of 7/7 through 7/11 specifically. Put in “24STATECHAMPIONSHIP” in the payment section where it states “Enter Promo Code” when checking out online or call in and let their team know when making a reservation over the phone.)
- Rifrafters Campround: Campground Offering RV and tent camping along with rustic cabin rentals in a family friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of space for the kids to ride their bikes or play on the playground.
- Local Vacation Rentals: We offer a wide variety of vacation rentals, from cozy cabins to spacious houses, some of which are within walking distance of the park.
All of our lodging partners are located in Fayetteville city limits, so you won’t have to worry about long drives to the games. Make your home base in the center of the action.
Unique Stays
The Aviators Lounge : Stay above an airplane hangar in this loft style retreat overlooking the historic Fayette Airpark. This spacious rental can accommodate multiple families or extended family so the whole family can cheer on your team. After the games relax in your private pool and hot tub.

- The Take Out & Stache Ice-cream Grab a quick rice bowl, salad, or sandwich in between games or cool off in our favorite ice-cream shop.

- Southside Junction Tap House The Tap House is famous for its mouthwatering burgers and tacos. They also host live music throughout the week.

Shuttle Information
Due to limited parking at the Charlie McCoy Town Park, take advantage of additional parking and a convenient shuttle service:
- Additional Parking: Available at Grace Baptist Church off Park Drive (closest proximity to the park), the Board of Education off Fayette Ave, and Fayetteville PK-8 school off Maple Ave.
- Shuttle Service: Operating Sunday, July 7, and Monday, July 8, with stops at Fayetteville PK-8, the Fayetteville Board of Education parking lot, Grace Baptist Church parking lot, and Fayetteville Town Park.
Fayetteville Bingo
Stop by the Fayetteville Visitor Center to grab a bingo card. Have fun at bingo spots around town while you explore in Fayetteville over the holiday. Once you get bingo return your card with contact information to the Fayetteville Visitor Center. Cards will go into a raffle for Fayetteville prizes! Cards are valid July 4-11th. Winners will be notified after the competition wraps up.
Activities
When you’re not cheering on your favorite team, there’s plenty to do in Fayetteville!
- Heritage Festival and Fourth of July Celebration (July 4-6): Arrive early to enjoy all the fourth of July festivities including a hotdog eating contest, live music, parade, vendors, a carnival, and more!
- Fayetteville Town Park: In addition to the softball fields, the park features playgrounds, walking trails, a pump track and splash pad.
- Carnival at the Town Park: The Town of Fayetteville is hosting a carnival with rides and attractions at the town park.
- Shopping: Fayetteville boasts a variety of shopping options, including unique boutiques, adventure outfitters, souvenir shops, and local art galleries.
- New River Gorge National Park: Explore scenic hiking trails, take in breathtaking views, and enjoy family-friendly picnic spots.
- Arrowhead Bike Farm- Rent bikes and hit the trails on their rolling loop tracks. They have an onsite biergarten and resident goats you can hang out with.
- Outdoor Outfitters: Perfect for adventure seekers, we have a variety of outfitters offering white-water rafting, zip-lining, rock climbing and other outdoor activities.
- New River Jet Boat: Fun for all ages, enjoy a scenic jet boat ride that will take you from the bottom of Hawks Nest Lake back up the river to soak up views of the New River Gorge Bridge.
