We have a lot of fun happening in Fayetteville for St. Patrick’s Day Weekend in town! Try square dancing, catch a musical at the Fayette Theater, enjoy Maple Days and more!

Third Thursday’s Old Time Jam

The Freefolk Brewery 6:30pm-8:30pm

Join us the Third Thursday of every month for an Old Time Jam Session! Bring your instrument for an open jam in the taproom with amazing local artists! And even if you don’t play anything yourself, still come down to grab a pint and listen to some awesome music!

St Patrick’s Day Party and Beer Release

Join us for a St. Patrick’s Day Party in the taproom!! We’re super excited to hangout with everyone!

Celebrate with our St. Patty’s Day beer, the Hoppy Irishmen! This extra hopped red ale has notes of caramel malt, sweet toffee, and a hoppy finish. It has a mild bitterness and medium body with a dry finish that Dubliners would be proud of!

Or if you aren’t feeling beer, we’re bringing back The Irish Maid from last year (Irish whiskey, Elderflower liquor, fresh cucumber and lemon-it’s soooo good!), and Irish Mule cocktail specials!

Best dressed wins a fun prize!!!

New River Gorge St Patrick’s Day Square Dance

Memorial Building Fayetteville 6pm

 Join us this St. Patty’s Day for a New River Gorge Square Dance! Come early for a beginners lesson at 6:00. Dance starts at 6:30pm.

 This event is family-friendly. You don’t need to bring a dance partner. And no experience necessary. Come as you are!

 Snacks available at the concession stand.

 $10 CASH at the door! Kids attend for free. (If you don’t have the cash, come anyway.)

Join us for one of our busiest days of the year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! Make sure to wear all the green you can because there will be prizes for most green outfits and most original Irish outfits! We will have some free classic Irish dishes for everyone to try and of course we will have Irish drink specials. We will also have our Karaoke/Dance party going on so what a better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Mt. Nebo St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration

Our neighboring town of Mt. Nebo is known for West Virginia’s best St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The town goes all out on their celebrations and it’s just a short drive from Fayetteville. Kick off the day with the Shamrock 5K Dash.

Mommy and Me Yoga Class

New River Yoga 11am

Each kids yoga class with Katie starts with ‘getting out of our heads and onto our mats’ and a breath/mindfulness exercise. Children are introduced to yoga asanas (poses) in age-appropriate ways including through games and imagination.
It is about having fun while learning about mindfulness, meditation, and yoga. Each class ends in a meditation suitable for your little yogi or yogini.

Join us for our second annual Maple Days Festival! Maple Days celebrates one of our favorite Appalachian cultural stories: the collection of sap to be turned into delicious local maple syrup. It’s a labor of love, and we are lucky to partner with amazing local folks, Blossom Hill Farm, to utilize their incredible syrup!

We’ll be releasing our Hickory Horned Devil, a delectable maple cream ale that uses maple syrup and sap water from Blossom Hill in the brew! They will be here selling their syrup and maple products along with other awesome local vendors from 12-5!

Live Music from 5-7 with Ryan Bradenburg and from 7-9 with Chad Cox! It’s going to be such a fun day – come hangout with us!!

Paint & Sip

Southside Junction Tap House 11am-1pm

Join us at The Southside Junction Tap House on Sunday March 19th from 11am-1pm for a fun afternoon painting and sipping! We will be painting ‘Majestic Owl’. $35/person includes all materials and step-by-step instructions including paints, apron, easel & a 16×20 inch canvas. This class is beginner friendly and for adults and kids 12+ years and older. Food, craft beer and cocktails will be available for purchase. Must be 21+ to purchase and/or consume alcohol. Come out for a fun afternoon with a paint brush in one hand and tasty beverage in the other!
