4. Arrowhead Bike Farm
Goat selfies are a whole vibe and Arrowhead Bike Farm has you covered with their resident goats.
Bonus: Rent a bike and hit the trail taking in all the fall foilage onsite, grab a drink and bite at the Handle Bar and grab a bonus photo of their bike wall.

Long Point Trail is famous for the amazing views at the end of the trail overlooking the New River Gorge Bridge.
6.Babcock State Park

Babcock State Park is home to the iconic Glade Creek Gristmill. It is one of the most photographed places in West Virginia. The Gristmill pops in the fall when the forest comes to life with vibrant hues of oranges, reds, and yellows.
Bonus: Hike the Island in the sky trial for more Instagram-worthy views. The park is home to multiple scenic vistas, our favorites are towards the cabin area. The reflection of fall colors on Boley Lake is also a must-see while you are at the park.
7.Hawks Nest State Park
49 Hawks Nest Rd, Ansted
The main overlook at Hawksnest State Park is accessible driving right past the main lodge off of Route 60 with stunning panoramic views of fall foliage.
Bonus: Hike down to Lovers Leap for more insta-worthy views. Do not miss out on the amazing views along the Hawks Nest Rail Trail. The Mill Creek waterfalls are a must-see while exploring around the park. You can access the trail driving under the underpass off Rich Creek Rd.
8. Fayette Station Drive
One of our favorite fall rides is Fayette Station via Route 82, Fayette Station Road. Keep an eye out for peregrine falcon sitings and stop for some magnificent viewpoints along the way. You will drive directly under the arch of the Bridge along the Nutall sandstone rock cliffs that make Fayetteville the capital of east coast climbing. Take a break at Bridge Buttress to take in the views along the rock cliffs. Fayette Station is a windy one-way road that will take you down to the bottom of the Gorge and back up the other side along breathtaking waterfalls. When you reach the bottom, by the river Fayette Station is a great place to stop and watch kayakers and rafters hit the rapids.

Turn right (north) onto US 19 and take your next right onto Lansing-Edmond Road (County Route 5 and 82). In 1/4 mile, turn right onto the road with a road sign marked “Fayette Station Road.” The road forks almost immediately; take the left fork.
Fayette Station Road continues into the gorge on a series of two- and one-way roads, passing under the New River Gorge Bridge twice and passing exhibits along the road. At the bottom, cross over the reconstructed Fayette Station Bridge, which reopened in 1998 as the Tunney Hunsaker Bridge. Park in the Fayette Station parking area and see the wild waters here. GPS coordinates to the parking area are 38.06625⁰ N, 81.08130⁰ W. After leaving Fayette Station, the road winds back up to Fayetteville. The entire trip from the visitor center to Fayetteville takes about 40 minutes (without stopping).
