Ways to Celebrate the 4th of July in Fayetteville

Fayetteville celebrates Independence day in a major way every year and 2021 brings more reason to celebrate than ever. Recently named one of the Smithsonian’s Best Small Towns, Fayetteville is the perfect small town to take in the magic of the 4th of July festivities.

See the Sights

Small town 4th of July celebrations mean charming traditions, quaint streets, friendly people, and lots of patriotic decorations. Fayetteville gets all decked out in red, white, and blue for Independence day. Take a stroll or a drive and admire all of the patriotic decorations while soaking up our small-town charm. Our community presence in addition to a love of and pride for veterans makes Fayetteville a very patriotic town. You will see hometown hero flags honoring veterans strung throughout town. American flags are mounted throughout the town and we may set the record for the most Americana bunting per capita in the state.
