New Moon Sunset Sound Bath New River Yoga

Friday,April 21

6:00pm A Farm Called Crow

A New Moon represents a pause in the dance betwen Earth and Moon. If the moon cycle was seen as a breath, a new moon is like the moment just before the next inhale. It presents a perfect time for setting intentions in our lives. A Sound Bath experience at sunset is a perfect way to take a moment to quiet the mind, pause, and reflect as we begin another Moon cycle.

You are invited for a New Moon Sunset Sound Bath on Friday, April 21st at 6:00pm.

Event taking place at the Farm Called Crow, located at 4340 Gatewood Rd, Fayetteville, WV.

*If we have bad weather, the event will transition to the New River Yoga Studio on Court St in Fayetteville, WV.

For those unfamiliar, the Sound Bath experience is geared at helping to calm the mind and body, helping achieve meditative states, relieve stress, and more. Nature itself is highly documented to have healing effects on the mind and body as well, and being outside at sunset seems to have a calming effect. When combined Nature and harmonic Sound create quite a wellness opportunity. This experience is aimed at helping all feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Cost to attend this event is $25.

We will have a few mats, blankets, and chairs that can be used. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own mats, blankets or chairs to use for creating a comfortable resting spot for the Sound Bath.

Rain or crappy whether location is the studio, 128 South Court Street.

Sound Bath will be led by Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations. He is a Sound Practitioner from the mountains of Virginia. Greg has been sharing and providing his Meditation and Sound services throughout the mid-Atlantic region for the past 8 years. Previously Greg worked for 15 years in a therapy hospital, giving him a broad and unique perspective on wellness and healing.

BEAT THE WINTER BLUES – THREE’S COMPANY BLUE

Fayetteville, WV — As we get back into the swing of things here in the New River Gorge National Park, we welcome you to shake off those winter blues with Three’s Company Blues Band and Seldom Free. Country Thai will be set up for dinner services along with local art vendors and massage by Ocean’s Massage Therapy. Last year was a memorable time for us and the vibe we created together…. let’s keep it going. Join us for this groovy time and celebrate the new season with us!

Three’s Company Blues is a trio from Charleston, West Virginia, playing classic covers you forgot you loved, as well as their own blues/rock style originals. The band was born of their driving desire to play music and keep the blues alive. What began as a fun side project among friends quickly turned into a serious, focused celebration of their passion for the blues, rock and roll, and celebrating expression through music. On June 4, 2022, they had the immense pleasure of acting as backing band to Kentucky native Jeremy Short, opening for Robert Cray Band and Blues Traveler at The Blues: Live & Loud in Ashland, KY!

Seldom Free is an acoustic trio from Greenbrier County, WV, bringing in unique originals and making their own spin on cover songs from bands. Featuring Nathan Seldomridge on acoustic guitar and vocals, Dan Freeman on bass and vocals, and Chandler Beavers on mandolin, their tunes span from jam and bluegrass to blues and even reggae.

The Outpost is a place to bring people together who love the outdoors, music and food nestled in the heartbeat of the New River Gorge. The Outpost offers a variety of lodging accommodations including primitive tent camping, tent platforms, cabins, vintage RV rental and both small and large RV sites. Food trucks, vendors, massage therapy services and premium amenities help create the communal family vibe that is being talked about everywhere.
