Every Friday during the winter season we will be doing Fireside Friday’s at Freefolk! Come hang out with us outside by the fire pits, while sipping on some yummy beer made right here! We will have s’mores kits available for purchase that you can roast over the fire! (Traditional milk chocolate and mixed candy kits available!) Feel free to bring extra blankets or your favorite chair and dress warm! Our patio is a truly magical place to be on a fall evening and we hope you’ll join us
Live Music with Verdant Southside Junction Tap House

Inspired song writing and impassioned delivery have made Verdeant a refreshing surprise to audiences, performing a blend of folk, modern and original music. The brother/sister duo have performed all across their home state of WV and around Appalachia for the past seven years, playing venues such as The State Fair of West Virginia, Draper Mercantile, and The Empty Glass. And while their shows always include inventive takes on classics and popular favorites, it is inevitably their original songs that please the crowds most.

Tis the season to shop small in downtown Fayetteville, and it all starts with Small Business Saturday. While known for its outdoor activities, Fayetteville is a great place to come shop small all year round. Part of Fayetteville’s unique and vibrant culture is contributed to by a myriad of locally owned independent businesses which support our community. There is something for everyone from our boutiques and antique stores to our adventure shops and more.
We will have a Small Business Saturday Welcome Station set up at the Fayetteville Visitor Center. Stop by and grab a map and free shop small swag to get you started(while supplies last).We have been celebrating Gnomevember all month long with gnomes roaming all around town. To join in the fun visitors can grab a gnome checklist at the visitor center. Find all the gnomes and stop by the visitor center for a small prize.In honor of Small Business Saturday on Nov. 27th, we are holding a social media contest. Winners will
receive a $25 gift card to a Fayetteville shop or restaurant.How to participate:Take a picture of yourself at your favorite Fayetteville small business.

Sundays at 11 AM, Erin Larsen and Sarah Coffey will be leading a beginner to intermediate ride for women who are looking to ride with other women, explore the Arrowhead Trails with a group, and have a good time!Meet at the Bike Farm at 11 AM. The length of the ride will depend on the group but will range from 6-8 miles.

Enjoy the Hansel & Gretel Trail with gingerbread-themed stops through town. The Festivities kick off on December 3rd with fun lined up through Saturday. Have breakfast with Santa at Cathedral Café. Enjoy more holiday shopping with the Fayetteville Women’s Club’s Christmas Craft show with over 50 craft vendors. The Fayetteville Arts Coalition will be hosting a Holiday Sampler showcasing the many talented artists that call Fayetteville home. Watch Christmas characters come to life Saturday with Fayetteville’s Christmas Parade. Santa will be riding into town in style with the parade. Visit with Santa and his elves on Saturday and enjoy cookie decorating, a craft, storytime, hot cocoa, write letters to Santa and much more! We will be hosting our 3rd Annual Gingerbread Decorating Contest. Gingerbread entries will be on display for voting during the festival. The Gingerbread contest is open to all ages and all skill levels. The Lincoln County Cloggers will be joining us this year to perform at the festival. We will have food trucks set up downtown and firepits for smores.
