the Rim to River 100 Endurance: 100 miles through the New River Gorge National Park.Follow Race Director Bryant Baker and Professional Runners HollyAnn Swann and Caleb Bowen as they prepare for the first 100-miler in America’s newest National Park.Extensive planning and coordination went into making sure we were able to successfully execute the shoot. Studying the trail systems, securing access points, extensive location scouting, developing multiple shooting schedules based on the runners’ pace, creating shot lists, coordinating how to deliver meals, equipment and other necessities to the crew, developing safety measures and adhering to COVID-19 regulations, communicating the crew and runners’ locations and pace, communicating with the National Park Service, race volunteers and Race Director, and swiftly changing the plan and adapting when unforeseen circumstances occur.This film was Directed & Edited by Anthony Greene

Rim to River Race

100 miles of wild & wonderful through the heart of the New River Gorge, this out and back ultra is the first 100-mile trail race in West Virginia. The initial event of the Rim to River Endurance Races, the course consists of winding single track & rail-to-trail from the rim of the Gorge to down along the New River. Along with the natural beauty of waterfalls, whitewater, & dramatic views, you’ll also find ghost towns, centuries-old cemeteries, & abandoned mine shafts throughout the course. Come experience the New River Gorge like few others ever have.

Women’s Group Bike Ride at Arrowhead Bike Farm

We are excited to announce our Weekly Women’s Group Ride will be on Sundays! Sundays at 11 AM, Erin Larsen and Sarah Coffey will be leading a beginner to intermediate ride for women who are looking to ride with other women, explore the Arrowhead Trails with a group, and have a good time!Meet at the Bike Farm at 11 AM. The length of the ride will depend on the group but will range from 6-8 miles.
Come join the awesome community of women riders in the NRG!

Ray is a Washington DC based comedian who grew up idolizing George Carlin, and dreamed that one day he would be on stage bringing the laughter. While that dream was not realized until he was in his late 40’s, he has made up for lost time by being to be one the hardest working comics in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. Ray is a big guy with a big heart, and an even bigger body! He has appeared at the DC Improv, Magooby’s Joke House (Baltimore), Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, Hyena’s Comedy Club (Fort Worth, TX), Wiley’s Comedy Club (Dayton, OH), Alchemy Comedy Theater (Greenville, SC), Church of Satire Comedy Club (Hanover, PA), 5th Borough Comedy Festival (NYC), Finger Lakes Comedy Festival (NY), and New South Comedy Festival (SC). Ray also co-hosts the Two Joke Minimum Podcast, currently, in season 3, which can be heard weekly on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Amazon Music and at www.twojokeminimumpodcast.com.Sam CobbSam Cobb is a standup comedian based out of the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area. Steve’s material reflects his experience with relationships, family, friends, and the world around us. A mutt of Smoky and Appalachian mountain blood, Hoot brings his rural upbringing and small town sensibilities to the stage in order to convey his views of the world in a style that endears him to people of all ages and demographics. In addition to his regular feature work at Church of Satire, Hoot has also appeared at Magooby’s Joke House (Baltimore), The Comedy Zone – Harrisburg, PA and the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival in Maryland.
